Here’s another smartphone from Acer that has been showcased at Computex 2009 known as the Acer F1. The F1 smartphone will be limited to 800 MHz which although lower than computer standards but it should be sufficient for run a phone without a hitch. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, the F1 sports a 3.8-inch TFT touchscreen display with 480 x 800 resolution. This smartphone will run Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system. There is also a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, WiFi Connectivity, Bluetooth Connectivity, GPS Navigation, an Fm Radio, HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity and a 3.5mm headset jack.
Though very similar in specifications to Acer's own F900, it feels much more desirable because of the design. The company's first crop of smartphones weren't very impressive, but if the F1 is anything to go by, at least it is going in the right direction so far.The display screen will be a treat to the eyes with 3.8 inches of visual delight. The best part is that audiophiles will manage to enjoy music from the 3.5 mm jack that’s on the top.
