Action Replay on R4

hie friends,

I have R4 (Revolution 4) card version 1.11 with me. I want to use Action Replay on my R4 card. But I don't know how to use action replay on the R4. Can anybody please help me....Is it possible to use action replay on version 1.11. Any suggestions....

You need 3 things -

1. You need the R4v 1.11 (which you already have) http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm
   
2. Next you want the Code Manager from Datel:

3. Finally you want the R4 Cheat code editor: http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm

Now, update you MicroSD card with the new firmware and install the Code Manager. Then follow the steps -
1. Under Subscriptions right click Codejunkies US Games and select copy if you want all or just do this for games you want.
2. Under My Codelists right click and select paste.
3. Let it import the games into your codelist.
4. Once it has completed go this folder: C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists
5. Find the XML, something like customcodelist.xml
6. Open the Code Editor and go to file and press Import XML file.
7. Import the one you just made and then go to file and Save As cheat database. Save it as usrcheat.dat.
8. Now open the card again and navigate to the system folder.
9. Copy the new usrcheat.dat file to that folder.

Alrite, once you have added the codes to the code editor, save the file as usrcheat.dat. Then on your microSD card, look for the _system_ folder and open it. If there is any another file called CHEAT.dat, delete it. Then copy usrcheat.dat to that folder.

- Go to the r4ds.com site and download cheat database.
- Click on codes and put "Add Game".
- There you'll need a game id. Click on Tools and click "get game id from rom".
- Click on the game you want to put cheats on and copy the id.
- Next, you click on "Add Code".
