    iPhone vs. iTouch

Can any body tell me the exact differences between iphone and itouch phone? I'm really confused between the two and would like to know the actual differences between the two phones. Is there any major differences between iphone and itouch phone? Can any body provide me the correct information on the above issue? Any kind of information on the above issue would be appreciated.

    Re: iPhone vs. iTouch

The height and width of iPhone and iTouch are the same. Both the iPhone and the iTouch offer application use, the iPhone utilizes a lot more active memory than the iTouch does. This means that the more applications you have, the potential for a slower reaction time from the iPhone occurs. Since the iPhone is constantly utilizing free memory for functions as a cell phone, this leaves less memory available for using applications. While the iPhone reacts well to the pressure, it can freeze up more frequently than the iTouch will since the latter does not need to utilize memory in conjunction with a cell phone network.

After all, the touch is slimmer and lighter, but the iPhone has a phone and Internet access virtually anywhere, to say nothing of the 3G S' video recording and editing features. The iTouch is great no doubt. It has a larger drive for one which is handy and it has the all important WiFi connectivity. BUT unless you are going to be around WiFi networks you can easily access, you may find your iTouch stays in your pocket more than you would like.

Obviously, iTouch doesn’t have any functionality to call. But the interface has really changed in terms of the buttons. Every feature on iPod touch has already been seen on the iPhone expect for the iTunes WiFi music store, which will debut on iPhone. Though their similar designs may lead you to think that the Touch is just an iPhone without the phone, in reality they are two distinct devices.
