Some compact digital cameras “wash out” color in brightly lit areas -- but the Sony DSC-N2 controls the light level received by its CCD imager to reduce washout and improve color reproduction.

In MPEG VX Fine Mode, the DSC-N2 captures VGA (640 x 480) audio/video clips at high frame rate of up to 30 frames per second4 -- with length limited only by the capacity of your media. Video Mail Mode lets you capture smaller file sizes suitable for e-mail.
