Unlock Sidekick II mobile phone

I was facing some issue with my old mobile phone so i have bought Sidekick II and when i was buying it the salesman assured me that this is simlockfree and with this i can put any other network card and can freely use it. But after few days when i took new connection and try to use my mobile phone i came to know that it's not simlockfree and i stay far away from where i had bought. My friends told me that there is Unlock Code available for Sidekick II mobile phone, can anyone provide me the code for the same. Thanks in Advance.

I don't think you unlock a Sidekick if you want to use on any other network but T-Mobile. The SK2 will only work correctly on the T-Mobile network.The sidekick uses a different connection for the internet which is Danger over where t-mobile saves that data when your are connected to that network with the feature exclusive to the sidekick.

Even if you unlock you Sidekick II you won't be able to use data features like internet, aim etc. You would be able to make calls and send text messages. Because sidekick uses a different carrier, it will also connect to backend servers for that carrier.
