How to fix digital camera lcd screen

Hi,
I want to replace broken lcd screen of my digital camera, Although I have had no experience in this exact area, as the LCD Screens are fairly delicate, I may not be able to fix it properly and may damage the new LCD screen too. please help me in fixing the digital camera lcd screen. For your information I have Kodak EasyShare CX7430.

Replacing a LCD screen of digital camera is not a easy task. It is necessary to actually open up the camera case to fix a broken LCD screen. As such, please consider that these repairs require some electrical background and knowledge, and should not be conducted by anyone unfamiliar with basic electrical components and safety precautions. You can usually buy the lcd cheap on auction sites. It might be better to purchase a broken camera with an intact screen. Make sure you get the same model. Take apart the camera and simply pull the connectors out from the end that is attached to the camera and push the connectors back in (might take some force) with the new screen.

If your camera is under warranty then you can the Kodak service center people will repair it for you. Check your manual, and your store. If its out of warranty, no, its not worth it to replace. cause the cost would get you a brand new camera.
