    Problem with Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 and Netmeeting

    I cant believe that Microsoft manufacture hardware that is not compatible with their own software

    anyone is working with this camera and netmeeting? i cant make it work

    It might be a driver issue, so try reinstalling the driver for your lifecam again and see if it works. You can also refer to this topic to solve your driver related issues with Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000

    Install the drivers properly and check the computer setup. You have to setup the webcam i.e. your Microsoft LifeCam VX-5000 according to the programs you used. For e.g. windows live messenger or yahoo messenger, etc.

    Actually the webcam has little effect on the bandwidth consumed by the call. That is decided upon by the application you are using to do the video conferencing with. There are a lot of methods out there from Microsoft Netmeeting, to MSN messanger, Yahoo, Skype, etc.

    i have a problem with my webcam. everytime i start it up on gmail my internet finds a problem and disconnects???
    does anyone know what is happening and what its needed

    and i used it on it before, but now its not working

    May be your GTalk application is old and is buggy. See if there is any update available. Also check your webcam drivers for update. That might be causing the problem too,
