The quality of photos is great, it works fine. Good design and reasonable size that you can carry in your pocket or because of its light weight (only 2 AA batteries), you can always have with you in a small bag attached to your battery belt.Another advantage is that AA batterries that you can find in almost all cases, and can your place in the AA rechargeable batteries end.
the only problem is that 1-plastic body which is a relatively cheap, although there is not much for this much budget and 2-the major flaw is the slow recovery time of the flash which sometimes is really a defect in the night.

The image quality is good - with excellent color, with high levels of saturation, contrast and detail. The noise is higher than average compared to the competition, but it is weak to ISO400 and detail is good. There were also some red eye in group photos, but overall red-eye is generally quite low. The camera does a good job focusing even in low light thanks to the development of assist lamp, and had a high success rate because of the construction of optical image stabilization. There is no vignetting (darkened corners), except with wide angle flash (due to lack of coverage), I noticed a slight barrel distortion (in wide angle) and Pincushion distortion at full zoom is weak . There is a very good range of image sizes, aspect ratio, and a good choice of compression options. The auto white balance and metering seemed to be very good. The camera gives good control of image quality

Canon A590 IS is a compact that allows full manual control and incorporates the famous advanced stabilization of the mark In addition to its quality, its price is very affordable. This digital camera provides the flexibility to exposure to an incredibly accessible prices. It is suitable for beginners who want a camera in order to improve in the manual mode until easy to have a good level to move to a high level of digital photography. The blur is significantly reduced, because the technology of motion detection automatically reduces blur by calculating subject movement and selecting ideal exposure and ISO settings.

With a good sensor, a face detector, a motion sensor and a very responsive processor , I do not think that you will miss your photos as before , This Canon is a very good camera despite its price, it's true that we have the habit of judging quality by price, but times have changed and now we can have quality without ruin. In addition to image quality, you can shoot VGA 640x480. And for the first time, Canon includes the selection and monitoring of faces. The only drawback I found is that the performance of flash is sometimes a little slow, I mean sometimes, ie once in ten to be precise.
