Shooting hdr on d80

Hi,

I have nikon d80, i want to take some HDR pics. i also want to learn how to choose and set the ISO, white balance, aperture (f-stop) on your Nikon D80. i have looked at my user's manual and all i can find is that the camera can do it. can someone please guide me.

You will have to adjust shutter speed to the UE, NE and OE shots Go to page 54 of your manual is where you can read about EV, hdr was created and meant for scene that have a dynamic range that exceeds the dynamic range of the camera sensor. There is a more convenient option available on your D80, it's called "bracketing", which is technically the same adjusting of EV up and down. where you dont have to do anything the camera will change the settings for you.

As you probably know, you do not shoot HDRs, you create them in an editor, a good one is Photomatix by the way, if you don't have an editor already. You do, however, shoot the components of the HDR with the camera. see here for more details
