    Panasonic lumix dmc-zs1 Digital camera

The Panasonic DMC-ZS1 is a members of the new ZS-Series, the acclaimed successor to the Lumix TZ-Series and one of powerful digital cameras. Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1 has a sensor resolution of 10.1 effective megapixels from a 1/2.33" RGB CCD image sensor, and Panasonic has coupled this to an image stabilized, 12x optical zoom lens with an excellent 25mm-equivalent wide angle. Additionally, the LUMIX FZS1 features a large 2.7 inch Intelligent LCD with resolution of 230,000 points, high resolution electrical Viewfinder (201,600 pixels) and HD video capabilities with a resolution of x 1280 720p at 30fps.More recently though, probably inspired by Panasonic's success, most of the large manufacturers have launched their own contenders in the compact superzoom bracket, many of which show that their designers must have been looking quite closely at Panasonic's products before sitting down to develop their own models. There’s sadly no optical viewfinder, but this is perhaps understandable given the strength of the zoom.

The Panasonic ZS1 opts instead for a 2.7" LCD display with 230,000 dot resolutions on which images and videos are both framed and reviewed. The Panasonic ZS1's lens has a maximum aperture that varies from f/3.3 to f/4.9 across the zoom range. The minimum focusing distance for the Panasonic DMC-ZS1 is ordinarily 50 centimeters, but drops to just three centimeters when switched to Macro mode.
