Nikon D700 versus Canon 5Dii Camera

Hello, my sister wants to buy a digital camera cause she travels alot and therefore wants to capture the memories of her tours made in different places. Now I have come up with two camera's - one is Nikon D700 and the other camera is Canon 5Dii. Both camera's are good but I dunno which one to go for, so therefore I want your opinions for which one among these two camera's are the best one. Thank you

The main difference is between lenses more than the cameras between those two digi cams. Canon 17-40, 16-35 is not a match for Nikon 14-24. Apropos, do you have Nikon 14-24?

I shot in general landscape and have to print large or very large. So, I presume 5D II is a better choice for me.

Nikon has a strong performance line of lenses, 24-70 f/2.8 (which i find superior to canon's 24-70 f/2.8 - but you're also paying more for it), 70-200 f/2.8 VR (which i think canon's 70-200 f/2.8 IS has a better IS), 14-24 f/2.8 (which I don't think canon has anything sharper than this UWA zoom, even their primes). Additionally, Nikon high end glass is better sealed than canon's. My 24-70 f/2.8L already has dirt in the focus ring, and it's suppose to be "sealed".

What canon DOES have that nikon doesn't is the 70-200 f/4 IS, 24-105 f/4 IS, 24 f/1.4, 50 f/1.2, 85 f/1.2, 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 IS.

I would go for Nikon D700 cause it is better as compared to Canon 5Dii Camera. In any case you can compare both cameras by reading up the review made on Nikon D700 Digital Camera and Canon 5Dii.
