Best automatic point & shoot camera

Hi,

I want to buy a new digital camera, as i am completely noob in photography i need a camera which should function well in the automatic mode. i am looking for best automatic point & shoot camera. my budget is around 10000 which can be extended if required. thank you

Point-and-shoots are by far the best selling type of camera. its the best for the person who is not experts in photography. there are many brands available in the market but i suggest you the olympus FE series,or buy olympus Stylus-7000, it Select iAuto on the mode dial, and the camera chooses the best shooting mode.

Canon Powershot A590IS is also a good option. This is an absolute MUST for everyone looking to get a new Camera! if you are wiling to pay high. the only disadvantage is Battery Useage, Though the AA batteries are great for convenience, the A590IS produced only 248 shots running on a fresh pair. Many point-and-shoots can take more than 300 shots on a single charge.
