Which is the best camera for rugged conditions

    Hi,

I would like to know which is the best dust proof and water resistant/waterproof camera . The only ones that are truly waterproof as opposed to water resistant are the Olympus 720SW and Pentax Optio W10.Olympus has definitely led the way in this category with its Stylus Tough series of nearly unbreakable cams. is there any other brand which offers the same.

you should buy Nikon D60, It does have protective weather seals, that protect from dust and moisture, plus almost all SLRs have an anti-dust feature. when you are not using the camera , keep the it in a case. and try not to keep the lenses attached if you can, plus always use lens caps. If you do these things you can handle some pretty rugged conditions.

The Canon Powershot D10 is one of the best camera in market, it offers excellent photo quality for its class. The D10 is freezeproof, waterproof, shockproof and dustproof, so it can be safely taken with you to the beach, hikes, or trips. go for it
