CANON MP980 problem

Good evening!
I have a big problem with my new Canon printer mp980!
I installed on my pc fixed wireless, perfect, everything works on a laptop (XP) in wifi, too perfect, and a second laptop with Vista, in wifi, the printer is detected, the installation goes well (no error), I can use the scanner (I scan receives doc and I can start scanning), but I can not print in the printer when I do print, I: "the printer does not respond," I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything, but always the same, no way to print! you have a solution??

I have the same type of problem, but me I spoke when I test the connection problem on the printer port.
Can you be more precise on your installation?
I have also vista, with Bitdefender 2009, I use my router box sfr, and I found.
Installation went smoothly, it sends to and receives printer (scan. ..) nickel.
At one point (after I have made a photocopy I do not belly there report ..), not issue to the printer, it receives against correctly.

Hello, when I test the connection, I have no problem with the port, it is detected and installation is going smoothly.
I also have bitdefender 2009!
Now it works, was a firewall:
Open the window BD2009.
Switch to advanced (button at top right).
In the left column, select the firewall.
In the central window, click the Network tab.
Your network should appear as "Local Area Connection" and with me it was indicated as "Confidence Level: risk-free". I put in "trust local" (click on the small black arrow down)
