    Sony cybershot dsc-w55 digital Camera

The Sony Cyber-shot W55 is a compact and stylish design with 7.2 effective megapixels, High Sensitivity for shots in low light, ZEISS lens with triple optical zoom, 2.5" 115,000 pixel LCD display, sustainable STAMINA battery and finished with a brushed aluminum front.7.2-Megapixel Super HAD CCD More megapixels give you more detail and definition when you make big prints or crop in tight on your subject. The advanced Sony Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise. To adjust quickly for specific shooting situations, the DSC-W55 lets you choose from several convenient photo modes: Auto, P-Auto, and Scene Selections for Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Landscape, High Sensitivity, Soft Snap, Snow, and Beach environments. One change is that the W55 is a 7 MP camera, rather than the W50's 6MP. Honestly, that's not a big plus, as they haven't made the sensor that catches the light any larger. Same (good) lenses, same size sensor = the same (good) pictures, but not better. (Though it might help a little on features like Smart Zoom.)
