Canon PowerShot S1 IS 3.2 MP Digital Camera

Canon has implemented over the functions of both worlds, as the active 10X optical zoom in video (640 x 480 pixels, 30 frames per second), the stabilization of the zoom, the possibility of changing the white balance mode video, sound recording supposed to be improved. All these functions are very attractive. The fact that they are located on a Canon camera, known for its quality photos, augured the best for the S1-IS.The SLR-like styling and plethora of controls both on-body and in the extensive menu system lets you know this is more than a point and shooter with a big lens. Canon has not yet replaced by a version 2 when it comes to blowing his first candle.

This "crash" due to our view by a few choice's understandable: this luxurious and expensive device that is 3 megapixels. Far from us to push the megapixel at all costs. However, our tests showed a difference in accuracy, image definition between the 4 megapixels or more and those under that bar. The Canon PowerShot Pro90 IS was notable for its use of an optically stabilized zoom lens with an effective focal range of 37 to 370mm, coupled with a 3.3 megapixel image sensor. In fact, the S1-IS compensates for its lower accuracy by a very good job on the colors and automatic correction made by the CPU of the device effectively. However, that has not been updated since its release, found above the main fault of Canon at the time: the slowness. The S1-IS requires more than 3 seconds to power up. It's too long, you will move on to miss photos. It's too long, you will move on to miss photos. At first glance, the PowerShot S1 IS might appear similar, with a 10x optically stabilized zoom lens and a 3.3 megapixel image sensor.
