General Mobile's DSTL1 : Dual sim Android-powered Smartphone

The DSTL1 General Mobile, a dual-SIM smartphone running on Google's mobile OS Android is next month on the market in Turkey and the U.S.. The phone is also the first Android device with a resistive touchscreen.

With DSTL1's 5MP SONY Brand Camera featuring Automatic Focusing (AF) you can capture superb frames. You can also check your emails by surfing on the internet thanks to Wi-Fi wireless internet connection support, with its 4GB external memory you can save all of your photographs and music files and you can watch your Avi or Divx formatted films on 3" SHARP Brand Touchscreen.




With Google Map, Ebuddy (MSN, Yahoo Talk, Google Talk , AOL messenger ) Weather Forecast built-in programs inside the General Mobile DSTL1 mobile phone you have the chance to benefit from all features of the technology.

Radio, Video Chat support, 624 MHz processor speed, memory card support up to 16GB, Bluetooth, JAVA and EDGE support are only a few of DSTL1's superior features.




The DSTL1 has a touch screen of 3 "and is the first Android device with a resistive screen. The T-Mobile HTC G1 and Magic are equipped with capacitive screens, which are more sensitive to touch of the fingertips, but not with a normal stylus operated can be. The resolution of the screen is still not clear.

The unit runs Cupcake Android 1.5, the latest version of Google's mobile OS. The heart of the phone is a Marvell PXA chipset with 31-a clock speed of 624MHz. Furthermore, the model of a 5-megapixel camera equipped.

Only drawback is that the entire software (including the market) assumes that your fingers used. So then a stylus as it is less useful.
Although a stylus in some cases it really is useful, but the current software for Android is more focused on finger friendly business.
