I have a problem with my Blackberry pearl. My call logs keep getting deleted and I dont understand why this happens! Is there any way to troubleshoot this mobile or it has to be repaired from the shop?

The Blackberry Pearl runs out of the memory if it is not rebooted frequently and then it deletes the call logs. This is a bug in the Blackberry Pearl mobiles.

The solution for this is to remove the battery of the mobile and then put it back inside... simple solution

Your phone memory must be full. Go to options then click status, should say how much free file you have. I had the same problem couple weeks ago and I did a hard reset.

Yes, this is the known solution and it works for many troubled users of Blackberry Pearl. But even after doing this, the problem may arise after some weeks again. To avoid this, you can turn On the Auto Reset feature of Blackberry Pearl. To access this feature, go into your Options, then choose the Auto On/Off option, set both the weekday and weekend option to "enabled" at the time of your choosing. Thats it!
