Remote Control codes for Memorex DVD Player

I have a Memorex DVD Player and I brought a new remote control for it as the old one gone mad and malfunction But this new remote will not function for this DVD player. Somebody told me that I need to program codes for this remote control to work on the Memorex DVD Player. Where can I get such code and how to program them?

Memorex doesn't make their own DVD players, they re-badge other companies DVD players, the net result being that all of their players use different remote control codesets. Therefore, in order for anyone here to have any chance of finding you the right code, they would need to know the exact model number of your Memorex DVD player.

• On your new remote press and release the DVD button.
• Hold the setup button until the DVD button blinks twice.
• Hit 9-9-1 and the DVD button should blink twice again.
• Now hit channel + button until your DVD player menu comes up or it turns off. Once it does hit the setup button to lock in the code.
• If you go to fast with Channel+ you can Channel - until you get back to where you want to be.

It worked good but apparently "Select" is the button you hit for the DVD Menu screen, it is going to take some getting used to but at least play and pause and stuff works!

I understand that Memorex doesn't manufacture their own DVD players and that it's likely using another manufacturers codes. I've tried most of the listed codes in the manual, but none of them works.
