Problem receiving email messages on blackberry

Hello,

I facing problem in receiving any email messages on my blackberry 8100. I am getting signal. but no emails, It has been very frustrating as i can sent or receive any emails. if its a network then how i can surf the net on my phone.

If your gprs is active and you are not able to receive it means that you are in an area that can not receive text. If it is the case then try turning the antenna or removing and reinstalling the battery to reset the unit. call your service provide, and if nothing helps there May be a problem on the server side.

IF you are facing such issue then first you should ensure that you have an active data connectionGPRS/EDGE. if its not then there is a problem with the carrier.

you can resend service books to the device wither via web interface or manually by going through the host routing table > Register now. you must receive an activation messages to your device. normally you receive 1 registration message. now try to send PIN message to your blackberry, If you receive this, it shows that network and your data services is working. In most of the cases what happen is that your service provider fix the problem by revalidating your email account.
