It will let you download the software that you need to convert your videos to MTV format compatible with COBY.
Alright this is what you do first..

2. convert the video you want so it converts to a .MTV by using the program you just downloaded
3. then go to Windows Media Player and just like you did before open it and add it to the sync list then ""syncronize"" it.
4. finally.. THERE YOU GO.

- In WIN Explorer click “Open to View Files”, on display will be 6 .DIR folders & a .xml file
- Now launch the VideoConvert.exe (application file) located on the installation disk.
- Click Input Video button (Browse to the folder containing .avi files) & select .avi file for .mtv conversion (if you want to save the .mtv file to a different destination folder click the folder icon to the right of the Video Output text box).
- In Output Frame Size box check 176X144 (this is the max size for this device).
- In Output Frame Rate box check Sports Video.
- The Output Audio Quality box defaults to Good.

- The saved .mtv file can now be copied to the device by simply dragging from its destination folder or ctrl + C & ctrl + V to the MOVIE.DIR folder in WIN Explorer form step 5.
- The .mtv file is now saved to the device ready for viewing, however there is just one remaining small lissue which may a software glich or another hassle with this player, because whilst playing my video’s every 60 seconds in the background a womans voice exclaims what sounds like “Freeee Gambling”
First you must the video file in. Mtv format "WinAVI becomes MTV Konverter" Secondly, if the transformation of video size 128x96 Thirdly, then the converted videos throw everywhere on the Coby.
