If your using outlook upload the blackberry desktop software and sync your phone. You can use the blackberry manager software that you install on your computer. Transfer contacts using bluetooth function.

The BlackBerry uses its own operating system and e-mail system, not Microsoft's. You can read Microsoft Office documents, sync with Exchange e-mail and sync with Outlook on your PC through BlackBerry's software.

Is there any way to sync contacts without connecting BB to computer, as USB ports on our work PC's are locked down for security reasons.

If your computer is connected to internet there is a way to sync your contacts using the computer's internet and BB's GRPS. Well you will need to contact your service provider for that...
