    Re: Sony HDR-XR500V Camcoder

Its really a great handycam. its Exmor R technology captures images with high resolution and high sensitivity, while the advanced Sony BIONZ image processor improves camera response time and screens out noise to help ensure that the signal from each pixel is as pure as possible. Only the thing bother is its expensive cost.

    Re: Sony HDR-XR500V Camcoder

I have one for me.There’s also switch to enable and disable GPS, and another to pick your options for low-light shooting: standard, low lux and NightShot. That setting is designed for recording still subjects in almost total darkness. On AVCHD models, the camcorder allocates encoding bits on detected face areas prior to encoding other parts of the picture, making them sharper and clearer.
