    Configuring wifi on iphone

    Hello to all.

Already I have made a long and tedious research to not bother you for nothing, but nothing has changed.

I have an iPhone 3G in perfect condition, current firmware, at Orange.

I have big problems to connect to my home wifi (Alice Box). I finally resolve my concern more or less by chance, in hack mode with static hdcp, ect.

In recent days, I changed my wifi network (Time Capsule). So I cut my wifi box to create a new network with the Capsule. My desktop computer is connected to the TC by Ethernet. No worries of network access. Mac laptop is connected to wifi. No problem.

But when I connect my iPhone, not possible!

I explain the problem: it can not find ANY network! Even my own, yet active and recognized on other devices is ignored. By the time (casual), it is 2 or 3, including my own. I clicked and sometimes, all the networks disappear. Other words, I have the time to enter my password (WPA2 protection), but nothing happens. Time to connect: it can not find the network!

So it's not a problem with wifi. I tried to Switch on the wifi in my box without the TC: Nothing to be done.

    Hi,

Have you tried the following things :

    - Change the encryption protocol (WEP / WPA).

    - Turn off all other devices so that the iPhone is the only access to wifi.

    - Reboot the iPhone.

    - Resetting the iPhone.

    - Reconsideration of a previous backup.

    - Reboots the router.

    - Enabled MAC address filtering and I proceeded in the same way once for all devices, whether wireless or Ethernet ... Nothing to do, my iPhone is the only one who can not find the network, although its MAC address to be correctly accepted.

    Hi,

Go to WiFi settings. It is indeed enabled (I). "Choose a network ..." select the network, sometimes there are 2 or 3 networks. All "jump" before access. Often even just by clicking on it.

Yes, the restoration has been attempted. Nothing has changed.

Otherwise, I also tried to connect to a network open: unable to connect.

I also read the notice saying that it could not connect to a network protected even if we knew the login info, but it is curious, since the interface allows the application to connect (button : connect to the network) and allows you to enter a password / WEP key. I suppose that since the opinion in question, an update has occurred.

    Thank you for your reply

Use ISOF - Its a free program that via bluetooth you can control your Mac, and several programs:

    • Keynote Remote
    • iTunes Remote

    • DVD Player Remote
    • QuickTime Remote
    • FrontRow Remote
    • Alarm Clock iTunes Remote

CAUTION: there is some bug with version 2.0 for those still using Tiger, there is already a correction look good to have version 2.0d
