Configuration on Yahoo on IPOD TOUCH

    Hello,

I trying to set- up an account yahoo.com on my ipod touch and mail, but I am getting an error message saying my login and / or my password have been rejected. When I connect via safari no problem.

On the ipod I first tried using the yahoo icon and filling the form what was asked because it did not work I tried to set fully coordinated with the pop and smtp server, not same Result, I tried with and without ssl, idem

I created the account on mail by taking the parameters provided by the yahoo site, use SSL with port 465 for incoming and 995 for outgoing, no result, same error messages as before.

Yet I read that there are those among you who do so ...

    Could you help me?

Why don't you just create a gmail account, it is better. You can access it via POP AND they also have a iPhone version of their site, but yahoo doesn't offer free POP, but it does offer free IMAP.

    Hi,

    To Enable POP on Yahoo!
    - Go to the top of Yahoo Messenger! Yahoo! Mail (This will make for each manip Yahoo!)
    - Click on "Options" (top right)
    - Click "Mail Options"
    - Click on "POP Access and Transfer"
    - Click on Setup or change the "POP Access and Transfer"
    - Check: Web access and POP (POP configuration)
    - Click "OK"

    Hi,

For Yahoo, it's simple, POP3 is not automatic. We must turn in before my benefit.

To retrieve the draft and sent messages, you can always refer you to any POP3 account.

You know, in general, before asking a question on a forum, you should first go read the main support among concerned. No Mac user can not know everything, while those offering a service must know everything.
So ideally, when you have a question:
1 Search for those (in the media, the FAQ) that provide service
    2 Search Google (or other)
3 If that has no conclusive result: request on forum.
