DIY Glove Phone

The DIY Glove Phone is awesome - it takes a Samsung A300 and a leather glove, and crafts a bizarre contraption that you dial by tapping buttons on the fingers, and use by holding your little finger to your mouth and your thumb to your ear.

The DIY Glove Phone allows you to make calls in a "Inspecter Gadget" style phone. Also, it allows you to compose the text messages with one-hand.

• The number keys (0 to 9), plus the call and end call keys were soldered, as the wires were routed to the fingers.
• Each finger has 3 push buttons positioned on it, making them operable via the user’s thumb.
• The speaker and the mic were placed at the base of the thumb and tip of the pinkie.

Future Improvements -

In version 2, there will be slightly less wire-explosion on the top with a box to hold the main board, and a vibrate feature to keep everything nice and discrete. Also, there will be more Steampunk theme going on, with copper and rivets, some artwork and perhaps a watch that does the vibro-alert. The manufacturers are hoping the precarious LCD display stays sticking up.

This glove phone seems to be highly techie and useful for security personnels.

I dont think this glove phone although impressive will be implemented commercially. There are lots of wires involved on the top which makes it a bit unlikely. If a small box is placed on the top which involves all the wirings internally, then it would look rather stylish....
