I think you should take the second calendar in a different install directory.
Problem is that you sync with your PDA should startup (do not know if that is possible).
Is it not convenient to any agenda to another folder in the same program to sync.
In outlook this is possible.

Use NuevaSync, it allows direct, over-the-air, native synchronization of certain smart phones and PDA devices with public PIM, and calendaring services including Google Calendar and GMail contacts. NuevaSync does not need any software installed on your device because it uses synchronization protocols that are already built in.
I use a program called OggSync helps to sync multiple calendars, but it's not free. So you can use Outlook for work and Google for your personal events or other public calendars.
