Microsoft Windows Mobile would like to better integrate with the rest of the Windows computing experience. " The new Exchange Server 2010 Beta (heh, that year will make it futuristic, right?) Is just out, and it shows that it is possible for SMS to Sync in combination with a Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone.
This raises a few thoughts with me: first, Microsoft, when can we get even a decent Notes will sync with Exchange? Categories are not possible, so if you have too many notes, it is a shambles. Second, okay, but the SMS-sync is a good idea. In Pocket Outlook e-mails and SMS are still sorted in the same program, so the synchronization with Exchange is logical.
"Microsoft is apparently looking to integrate Windows Mobile more tightly with the Windows computing experience. The newly available Exchange Server 2010 beta has shed some light on an upcoming Windows Mobile 6.5 feature - the ability to synchronize and archive all SMS text messages on the Exchange Server! Never again will you have to worry about losing important text messages or having to scroll through endless text-convos just to find a phone number."
