How to uninstall VMS Anti Theft in nokia n70

Hi,

I recently installed VMS Anti Theft with Mobile Tracker on my n70. its similar to other anti theft software, but the problem is I cant uninstall it. I've tried Uninstalling it using its uninstall option, Application manager and even hard formatting my phone but still it wont uninstall.

Hi,

Application manager and even hard formatting will not gonna help you. First make a copy on your Memory Card and then format your memory card.You must uninstall it with plugged memory card. Bcs VMS delete that memory card copy while uninstallation. Also you can try to delete a memory card copy manually. Delete e:\xxxxx or e:\system\data\xxxx files, where xxxx is your device IMEI.

Procedure to uninstall VMS Anti Theft

• Open X-Plore and click menu and choose configuration from Tools to turn on System files/folders, System Application and Hidden files
  
• Click Tools from Menu and Select Processes
  
• Delete VMSStorage, VMS_CBS and VMS_demon_2nd
  Now,
• Go to C: and Open the System folder
  
• Click "Apps" (Applications) from System folder
  
• Delete the folders test_view3 and VMS_locker_2nd instantly
  
• Delete the files Vms.dat and Vms.wav which are located in the "Data" folder
  
• Delete the storage.dll which is located at "Libs" Folder
  
• Delete the files illusion.exe, installationCleaner, VMS_CBS.exe, VMS_Demon_2nd.exe and VMSSTorage.exe which are located in the Programs Folder
  
• Delete the VMS.mdl file located in the recogs folder
  
• Delete system.ini located at system folder
  
• Restart your mobile quickly!

Atlast the most precious software will be uninstalled after Restart

You can check this with typing "123456" (Default Access Code for VMS)
