| installing idt audio on windows xp x64
Hello guys!!! I am installing windows xp x64 on my dv7-1183cl and I have the followin problem with my audio: - I have installed KB901105 for x64 to view my high definition audio device enabled but i doesn't works. It says that I have a service pack 2 and dont' need such update. - I have tried sp33867 v1.00 B3 too |

Have you tried to reinstall the sound device drivers. Look at the official website for the latest drivers. What I doubt is that there is no x64 driver available for your device. Confirm if IDT high definition audio device is compatible with XP x64. Also, try to get the latest codecs.
