Sony launches the latest Blu-ray player and Bravia Theatre systems

Sony has unveiled its latest Blu ray player. Incorporating the latest in cutting edge technology, Sony offers its consumers a memorable home theatre experience with its new line up of entertainment systems. The company introduces the BDP-S360 Blu-ray player and three new Bravia Theatre systems dubbed as the HT-FS3, HT-SS360 and HT-SF360.

The BDP-S360 delivers pristine 1080p picture quality, with full 7.1 surround sound via a compatible AV receiver. This can be achieved through newly incorporated DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD decoding capabilities, the first time these features have been made available on an entry level Blu-ray player from Sony.

By offering the opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of BD-Live, the BDP-S360 takes interactive entertainment to another level. This feature continues to break new ground, breathing fresh life into your movie viewing by allowing you to download and stream bonus content such as additional scenes, trailers and movie-based games. The BDP-S360's built-in USB port means that exclusive additional content can also be downloaded from special websites dedicated to movies boasting these features and saved onto an optional USB flash storage device.

The BDP-S360 player has a quick start up time of just 6 seconds. With the Bravia sync technology incorporated into the system, users can toggle between the player, Bravia TV and home theatre system through a single remote control. The player also offers Bonus View which gives Picture-in-Picture capability with certain titles.

The Precision Drive technology exclusively from Sony is found in this device. This technology detects and corrects wobbling discs while scratched and bent discs are stabilized and played back. The system produces vibrant colors as it supports AVCHD discs with x.v.Color (xvYCC) technology and Deep Color video output. Also included is 24p true cinema for excellent picture quality and the Xross Media Bar which allows easy navigation through menus.

The HT-SS360 and HT-SF360 models consist of satellite speakers and sleek floor-standing speakers respectively. They produce a high definition sound when attached to a Blu-ray player and have 1000W power output. The systems are also Bravia sync enabled and support intelligent DCAC and DCS technology. The HT-FS3 device is packed with FM/AM Radio and 2.1 channels of S-Force Pro Front surround sound. All three home theatre systems are enabled to play music stored on computers, mobile phones and MP3 players through the Digital Media port.

The price and availability of the BDP-S360 Blu-ray player and HT-FS3, HT-SS360 and HT-SF360 Bravia Theatre systems are not known.
|YAY if that made sense...|
