Microsoft SideWinder X3 Mouse

If the fate of the Zune walkmans is not yet completely regulated, Microsoft does not have seems it any doubt with regard to its range of peripherals for players since he announces today the nearest arrival of a new variation of this mark, with the mouse SideWinder X3. This telegraphic mouse is equipped with eight buttons including five programmable, and posts an adjustable laser sensor according to three stages, for a maximum sensitivity of 2000 dpi.

Like its siblings the SideWinder X5 Mouse and the original SideWinder Mouse, the SideWinder X3 Mouse has five programmable main buttons that are customizable to gamers’ preferences and tested for extreme gaming, with the main button life rated to 10 million clicks. Additional features include these:
  • IntelliPoint software to create and assign macros
  • Wide, detented scroll wheel for more precise click movement
  • Low-profile lateral side buttons for easy access during gaming and everyday computing
  • Wide-glide feet for smooth handling and a light, balanced feel

Pricing and Availability

The SideWinder X3 Mouse will be widely available in May for an estimated retail price of $39.95 (U.S.). The mouse is available now for pre-sale on Amazon.com and will ship in May when it is released. Microsoft SideWinder X3 Mouse Features
Features include:

* 2,000-dpi laser-tracking engine
* five programmable buttons
* macro recording
* Windows XP and Vista compatible
* Corded
* Full-speed USB reporting at 500 Hz
* Maximum speed of 45 inches per second
* Up to 20 Gs of acceleration

PC requirements include: 100mb?s of available disk space, CD ROM drive for installation and an internet connection (to finish up the installation). The left and right buttons are rated up to 10 million clicks each so watch yourself.
