Digital Video Camera Not Detected in Device Manager

    Hello folks!

So if I use my Panasonic EX3EG my firewire card did, but it should be available in Device Manager or his? Either audio-video-game controller or imaging device ... There is nothing but ... I think that is the reason why other CaptureSofts not on the Cam can accessed unless the software supplied with the card was ... The fact captured in mov and that's the shit I use tmpeg no movs can open ...

    Need your advice!

    Hi,

    CHECK CAMCORDER CONNECTIONS AND SETTINGS.

    1. The DV Camcorder is turned on and connected by the power adapter (not battery)
    2. The Camcorder is in Play Mode.
    3. The IEEE 1394 cable is properly connected from you camcorder to the IEEE 1394 card.

AND ALSO CHECK DEVICE MANAGER TO VERIFY THAT CAMCORDER DRIVER IS LOADED.

    Hello,

Do you have your camcorder at all in Device Manager WIN registered?

    1. Desktop workstation class right properties tab Device Manager
This needs your camcorder as an imaging device is sub-item Microsoft DV
Camera and VCR. If this is because he is registered. Otherwise nothing.

    Hi,

First a format of the systemdrive, then a complete, clean installation of Windows XP without the servicepacks. Now it works fine again..
Microsoft doesn't have a patch for this problem ready right now, not for Win XP anyhow..
