The world leader in innovative and stylish portable digital devices, iriver has launched its latest sleek and modern PMP called iRiver p7. The iRiver P7 PMP comes with a 4.3″ 480 x 727 touchscreen display, 16GB of integrated storage capacity which can be supplemented thanks to the onboard SD card slot and, in terms of file format compatibility, offers just about everything you could possibly be looking for - namely MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF, FLAC, APE, WAV, AC-3 and AAC Audio / MPEG, DivX, RM, RMVB and H.264 Video.
The unit will be available in a variety of capacities (4/8/16/32GB), which can be expanded courtesy of a microSD card slot. The device itself is crafted out of aluminum. There’s no mention of WiFi, which for some reason just doesn’t seem right.
Offering up to seven hours of endurance (based on the P7 playing audio files - expect less when playing video), the iRiver P7, which measures in at 2.88″ x 4.4″ x 0.5″, comes supplied with earphones, stylus pen, USB 2.0 cable as well as installation CD.P7 is a TFT LCD touch screen with widget-like GUI layout, supporting up to 50 hours of audio playback or up to 7 hours of video playback.
According to the company, the iriver P7 that incorporates photo viewer, FM tuner as well as voice and FM recording functions can support wide variety of movie CODEC and music file formats.
