Sony Japan has updated their C series of laptops with a strange new design - crocodile skin laptops - certainly something we’ve never seen before. This is another attempt by Sony to cater to the stylish folk out there who want their laptop to match their style.
The new CS series are available now for pre-order and this exclusive Vaio Owner Made edition will be available in brown, red, and pink. Sony reproduced the crocodile effect by creating a real bumps and irregularities of textured pattern using plastic. At first, we nearly thought that it was real leather from the pictures.
Mind you, textures are all those crocs sacrificed, as like the company's earlier Crocodile-themed machines these lappys are still made entirely of plastic and bits of silicon -- just grooved and pigmented to look like prehistoric, genetically modified reptiles.
Sony’s VAIO C is powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor, up to 8GB RAM, up to 500GB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics.
VAIO type C has a 14.1-inch 1280×800 LCD display and supports WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth. It runs Windows Vista. Three models are available, VGN-CS92DS, VGN-CS92JS and VGN-CS92XS.
