Toshiba launches REGZA Z-LCD-TVs for Japanese market

Toshiba in Japan new LCD TVs in the REGZA Z-and H-series announced. The new models can record video, while the top model ZX8000 is equipped with an LED backlight. The models between April and July on the market.

In most TVs and PC monitors with standard back lights are still just MVA / PVA / TN / IPS panels used, which can just barely higher than real contrast ratio have 1:1000 to 1:1500. Personally I find the LED back after lightning so just a big hype.
