The difference between the two is that the X340 is based on the Intel GS45+ICH9M-SFF chipset, featuring integrated GMA4500MHD graphics and support for 4GB of memory, while the X320 boasts the integrated Intel GMA500 graphics and up to 2GB of DDR2 memory. Both systems are equipped with 2.5-inch hard drives, 802.11 b/g/n and Gigabit Ethernet LAN. The X320 is the only model to provide an option for 3G/WiMAX connectivity.

I like the design of the x320 and X340, perhaps because it recalls a recent laptop

Re: MSI Wind U123, X-Slim X320, and X340 Announced

Mostly because it's not new, and the only advantage is the processor (not debating the OS choice, that's personal for you). Obviously there are differences in build quality, but I would prefer to wait til the x320/340 is released before comparing those.

I think MSI is blurring the lines between netbook and notebook, which is a good thing - more choices.
