The new Panasonic DMC-TZ7 Digital Camera is an ultra-compact super-zoom camera, offering several major improvements on its predecessor, the popular Panasonic TZ5 model. The new camera has a 12x, 25-300mm optical zoom lens, 10 megapixel count, the Venus IV Engine processing engine for enhanced responsiveness, and the 720p HD video mode is recorded in the new AVCHD Lite format which increases the recording time. For better video quality, there is a dedicated Record button, stereo microphone, wind cut function to block out background noise, and audio sampling at 48kHz. AF tracking and Face Recognition have been added to the Panasonic TZ7’s Intelligent Auto mode, which is also available for the first time during movie recording. The new Panasonic TZ7 features optical image stabilisation system and 3-inch LCD screen with 460K pixels.It will be available in silver, black, brown, blue and red colors.
