iPod stuck in recovery mode

Hi there,
Every time itunes tries to reflash the firmware, the ipod reboots and shows a progress bar and then the ipod reboots again and goes back into recovery mode. It appears to be stuck in recovery mode. Any thoughts about it?

If your iPod is stuck in recovery mode with the spinning wheel screen, try following to solve it:

• Make sure iPod is disconnected from computer.
• Power down iPod all the way by beginning a Force Restore procedure: Press and hold Home+Power buttons until the iPod turns off, then immediately release the buttons before it can turn back on.
• From powered down, press and hold home button.
• Connect the iPod to the computer, holding home button.
• When recovery screen appears again, release the home button.

If you are using windows:

• Download iBrickr
• Extract iBrickr into a folder
• Open a command line and cd to the folder you extracted iBrickr to.
• Run iphoneinterface from the command line.
• You should see an r_recovery prompt.
• Type "setenv auto-boot true" and press Enter.
• Type "saveenv" and Enter.
• Type "fsboot" and press Enter.
• Then your phone will boot properly.
