The LG Neon with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard has made its way over to Fido, also called the TE365, mobile phone, which is obviously meant for heavy text messengers. The Neon has a 2.4 inch touchscreen (240 x 320 pixels) with a 2.0 megapixel camera that has video capabilities, MP3 Player with FM Radio, Stereo Bluetooth, expandable memory up to 4 GB MicroSD with an overall weight of 108 grams. A bunch of standard apps come preloaded on the device, including a contact manager, calendar and more.
LG Neon is surely a great choice for those who like instant messaging. Starting this week it will be available to Fido subscribers in Canada. Here's a quote from the recent press release regarding the LG Canadian Texting Championships: "LG Neon, which is a slider model that features a full QWERTY keypad and easy touch screen for dialing"
It’s a slider that comes with 2.4-inch touchscreen display, 2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (850/1800/1900MHz), Bluetooth, 14MB internal memory and microSD card support of up to 4GB in capacity. It doesn’t feature HSDPA or WiFi connectivity.
Two color options will be available - pink and grey - making us think one is designed for girls and other other one for boys.
