Fusion-io aren’t the only people who can put massive amounts of solid-state memory into a desktop PCIe card, as Japanese firm PhotoFast announce their G-Monster PCIe SSD.
It looks like another company is offering a PCIe SSD, which the launch of the new PhotoFast G-Monster PCIe SSD.The PhotoFast G-Monster PCIe SSD will come in a variety of sizes, including 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, and will offer read speeds of 750MB/s and write speeds of 700MB/s.
After the new G-Monster-V4S and IDE-V2 2.5-inch SSDs, Photofast offers the G-Monster PCIe SSD storage.
The G-Monster PCIe SSD uses PCI-Express x8 interface and has hardward-based RAID controller. The SSD offers 750MB/s read speed and 700MB/s write speed.
PhotoFast G-Monster PCIe SSD is available in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities:
