    Problem with Advent 4211 netbook

hello, I posted here because I have a problem with my advent 4211.

    Here is the message:
    windows boot manager
windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1: insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2: choose your language settings, and then click "next"
3: Click repair for your computer

if you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
    file: \ boot \ bcd
    status: 0xc0000098
Info: the windows boot configuration data file does not contain a valid OS entry.

The disadvantage is that I do not have the cd, no usb key starts.
Thank you in advance for your answers.

I think you can possibly need this:

You need to restore power but with AC you will be forced to lose everything ... and high chance that you end up with a windows install in the end.

I had a huge amount of trouble creating the backup as well (tried it in all the ports, tried two usb drives and an SD card) and eventually I took it into the Curry's I'd bought it from. One of their people was very helpful and worked out that the usb had to be formatted as FAT32 - reformatted the drive and it worked. Was sure I'd tried this but oh well.

Sorry if this is really obvious, thought I'd chuck it in there though.

The easiest way to go about it is to locate the xp cd in the box and re-install OS first, if you haven't got usb cdrom, then get on the tutorial here to use usb stick to load xp, after that go to the msi microstar site and download all the drivers and install them back one by one starting with chipset driver first, and that's it, and of course you won't have the recovery partition anymore, but that doesn't really matter as long as you have the xp cd. If you haven't got the supplied xp cd you can contact MSI and I'm sure they will send you one or even a recovery cd.
