Samsung has announced the launch of two new 16:9 HD notebooks, the 13.4-inch Q320 and the 15.6-inch R522.
Both laptops offer Intel Centrino 2 processors and come with Windows Vista Home Premium while those 16:9 displays are good for widescreen movies as well as Vista gadgets.
The two laptops offer decent battery life with 6- and 12-cell long-life batteries available with the Q320 claiming 4.6 hours and the R522 offering 5 hours.
The Q320's notable features are a frameless screen and slot loading optical disk drive, nVIDIA GeForce G105M graphics card, USB/eSATA combo port and "SuperSilent Mode".
The R522 offers an "aluminium-style" palmrest and touchpad lighting and has a chargeable USB port that can be used to charge devices when the notebook is turned off.
