Toshiba Tecra T9100 does not start

Hello,

I had the problem since yesterday that my old laptop no longer boot.
when i push the power button the little light above it comes on. The CD/DVD drive will run and the fan will too. But nothing will come up on the screen. I have used an external screen and nothing has happened. I have switched the RAM with good ones and nothing. I have taken the battery out and tried AC power and nothing. I do not have a hard drive in it but thought it should boot to the BIOS but it dose not.

Do I need a hard drive for it to boot?

It sounds like a problem with the motherboard, apparently one of the components is defective. By the way, test the laptop when only one memory module is installed. Test it with each memory module installed one by one in each slot. It’s possible that one of the memory slots is bad and works properly only when the laptop is warmed-up.

Try to fix this problem by Toshiba CD that came with your machine, reinstall the programs, in general the CD #1 is this one and the #2 erases all on your computer in combined with the #1 an reinstalling the default programs. Try it

I have a problem with a85-s107, it gives me an error at bootup resource conflict-pci on motherboard bus:02,device:03,function:00, if i turn the lan off in the bios it will boot with no error but will not recognize my pcmia or internal wireless help please
