However, the T42 has worked normally before. The whole problem started with the "fan error". The fan was controlled: OK, the hard disk: OK, CPU: OK and Graphic card: Ok well. Could it be corrupted bios or more serious motherboard failure?
My config is: T42, 15" SXGA, 1.7 cpu, 1 GB ram, radeon 9600-64 mb. HDD 60 GB. Win Xp pro sp3. Bios v: 3.21.
Is it risky to drain and flash the bios? and if it does nothing, can we consider that the motherboard is faulty!
Thank you give me some ideas if possible. I purchased the T42 used but in perfect condition, cosmetics and configuration, it was in vista, which was replaced by XP Pro.
