MSI Classic Series

MSI will unveil its new Classic series, starting with the CX700, CX600, and CR400 which weigh in at just 3, 2.5, and 2.2 kgs, respectively. The slim Classic Value Series is just the answer for people on-the-go and it's easy on the pocketbook, too. More detailed info:

For richer, more natural images, the new CX700, CX600, and CR400 come equipped respectively with 17.3", 16", and 14"-wide LCD displays as well as MSI's exclusive Vivid Image Technology. For smooth graphics, high resolution, and great 3D effects, the CX700 comes with the advanced ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 independent display card (DDR2 512MB VRAM built in), the CX600 has the advanced ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 independent display card (DDR2 512MB VRAM built in), and the CR400 comes with the exceptionally efficient NVIDIA Geforce 8200MG.

All of the models have a combo drive that burns DVDs and CDs along with a built-in card reader and 1.3MP webcam with mic. MSI uses ECO power management to save power at the touch of a button. Pricing for the machines is unannounced at this time, but considering they are value, notebooks the line should be affordable.
