Panasonic announced the Lumix DMC-G1, a quite extraordinary, the most convincing to describe it is perhaps to talk about bridge with interchangeable lenses. Very convincing, this device suffers a surprising gap in our time: the lack of movie mode. Since the launch of the DMC-G1, Panasonic has announced that it would correct the shot with its next model, the engineers at first concentrated their efforts to propose a particularly responsive autofocus. In this period of PMA - a major trade shows in the photo world - is now done with the announcement of Lumix DMC-GH1.
As we have mentioned, the Lumix DMC-GH1 can now rely on a video mode, not least because it allows to record Full HD (1 920 x 1 080 at 24 fps) in AVCHD format , such as the Lumix DMC-TZ6 announced earlier this year. Other features make this new model reduces the distance between cameras and camcorders, to the point that Panasonic does not hesitate to present it as a joint HD camcorder and camera with interchangeable lenses.
The sound recording has been the subject of care with the presence of a stereo microphone, a stereo input to connect a microphone and a HDMI connection. The auto focus and zoom are obviously active during the video, while the DMC-GH1 take the opportunity to use interchangeable lenses to capture, on request, with plans close, distant, wide or to tight. The capture sequence can finally do everything manually or through other modes as they enjoy the plethora of intelligent automation developed by the manufacturer. The only weakness of the camera - for video use - is its ergonomics: not easy to record a sequence eye glued to the viewfinder or holding the camera by hand and fit through the screen orientable.
