    Samsung HT-BD8200

    The Samsung HT-BD8200 is the first home theater sound bar equipped with a Blu-ray player and wireless subwoofer, delivering a streamlined, HD surround sound solution built to expand the prowess of any home theater. It features a fully integrated Blu-ray player with Full HD 1080p playback and virtual 5.1-channel surround sound for a life-like audio presence.


    The HT-BD8200 is a self-contained, wall-mountable home theater sound bar designed to fit in with today’s contemporary décor and lifestyle. It is only 2.6 inches deep and accented with Samsung’s Touch of ColorTM (ToCTM) design, for a classy, yet cutting-edge look. The included wireless subwoofer provides a superior blend of effective audio performance and interior design flexibility to fit into just about anywhere in the home. Additionally, the wall-mount bracket and hardware are included, so it is ready right out of the box.

    The HT-BD8200 is also equipped with Samsung’s “Smart Volume” technology for automatic volume level adjustments and the ability to change audio sources without the need to continually pick up the remote. Equipped with wireless networking via an 802.11 b/g/n and optional USB dongle, the HT-BD8200 can play BD-LiveTM (Profile 2.0) interactive features and access Netflix for instant streaming video or Pandora music (subscription services required). The HT-BD8200 can also access video, music and photo collections from any networked home PC.

    the HT-WS1 is much smaller in size. This sound bar connects to TVs via its single optical cable. Easy on the eyes, the HT-WS1 comes available in alluring ToCTM charcoal grey and ToC red to complement Samsung’s new line of ultra-stylish LED and ultra-slim plasma HDTVs. The wall-mount bracket is included for added convenience.

    With 260W total output power and a wireless subwoofer, the HT-WS1 creates a virtual surround sound effect without needing to deploy multiple speakers around the room.

    It will be available in April 2009 for $349.99.

    The HT-WS1 offers 5.1-channel 260-watt surround sound output and comes with a wireless subwoofer. It comes in Touch of Color (ToC) charcoal grey and ToC red style. It's very nice Sound Bar introduced by Samsung.
