Download the normal Realtek drivers from their website. There are apparently special specific high definition HD drivers which would be the ones that should work. Give them a go if you haven't tried them (after uninstalling any other drivers and deleting the offending items out of device manager).
Try this:
- Go to Control Panel
- Double click sounds and Audio Devices
- Click Sound tab
- Look for the sound scheme
- If the sound scheme is blank choose "windows default"
Go to Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, if you don't have a device listed next to the speaker icon. Then go to Device Manager and right click the speaker driver and select uninstall, then click the scan for hardware changes button (magnifying glass icon) and the card should be redetected.
