Press *#36287# key string in the dial screen to enter camera test mode -
[1] Auto focus [On]
[2] ISP firmware write
[3] ISP firmware version check

[1] Press the "1" key to disable auto focus. In order to enable auto focus, press the "1" key again.

[2] Press the "2" key to write the ISP (Camera Module) firmware. “ISP firmware write [Please wait]” will be displayed during 2 minutes. Then "ISP firmware write [SUCCESS]” will be displayed when the firmware upload finished.

Umm, i did the camera codes that are said. And when i open my camera to obviously take photo's it wont let me. It says 'Camera Failed'. Is there a way of fixing this? Like a rollback or something? To what it was before?

After appling the secret camera code in your Samsung F480 , now you are not able to take the pics from this mobile phone. you are getting the 'Camera Failed' error. I think you can solve this problem using two methods. But i am not sure that the first method will work or not but i can guarranty that the second method will resolve all the problems of your mobile phone. The first thing that you can do is restore the mobile to the factory settings. For this go to the sttings of your mobile phone and run this process. Enter the Default mobile password if you have not changed or enter the changed password. The second thiag that you can do if the first method does not works. You should Flash the operating system and install the frash copy of the opearting system in your mobile phone. This can only be done at the Mobile repaire shop. It is better to contact the Samsung service center.

Thanks alot. The first one didn't work and i think i will have to take it into the samsung shop and send it off as it will not let me view the camera.

I have a Samsung phone. I dont think that other mobile phone providers will get the same screen res as my phone.

I have a samsung F480 and a little while ago it locked itself on a virgin simcard.

i bought it outright so it should be unlocked to any network but my optus sim will not work in it either nor does a telstra card. i took it back to the place i bought it from and they thought i stole it.

the codes above i cannot enter when i turn on the phone where it comes up with 'simlock enter password' because i can only enter numbers not * or #.

i can enter the codes when i have the phone turned on without a sim in it. but the simlock is inactive then.


any help would be fantastic as i do not want to buy a new mobile
